So I spent about 20 minutes meditating today, a little short of my norm, but I had to run to the grocery store.

Products bought today:
NV Granola Bars ----- $3.00
3 Bottles of Water Crystal Gysr Spring Wtr ----- $5.79
Planet Dish Soap ----- $3.89
1 Raspberry Yogart ----- $.80
1 Blackberry Yogar ----- $.80
Colgate Med Brush ----- $2.79 (because I'm neurotic and care about my teeth :P)
1lb of Bananas ----- $.89
2 Kiwis ----- $1.79
.57lbs of Plums ----- $1.70
POM Lychee Green Tea ----- $11.99 (Its like a half gallon of it!)

And I should be good for a few days with that and what I already have at home.

I'm in Newfoundland and bananas almost cost the same if not more. They arent even great looking bananas either..And those are just the non organic ones. When I can find those they are pricey..but soooo worth it:)

I miss living on a mainland sometimes just because now that I've become more aware what I'm putting in my body its soo hard to find here.

Exactly = /

The cool think about the summer time here though, is that everyone kind of grows their own. It's just like...November thru March that things are tough.

you've got me sold on everything but the toothpaste - Tom's of Maine is AMAZING, i have no idea where you are, but it's well worth looking into (it's pretty hard to find in TX, but for $5, you get a great mouth party that doesn't leave that sickly artificial taste...)

..now i'm craving green tea :-)

ah, whew. you had me worried there for a sec.

alaska, yikes, good luck with the fresh fruit! i wonder if there are as many edible wild plants up there as there are down here (just wandering around my area, we've got a TON of prickly pear cactus, pads and fruit of which are edible...)

Actually right outside my house Raspberries, Strawberries, and Blackberries grow naturally. However, being that today it's -15 and 20mph winds, It seems like foreeeeever till i'll get my fresh goods.
